The Department of Water and Sanitation is seeking a service provider to supply security guarding services for their offices in Upington and Kimberley, Northern Cape. The contract covers a period of five months. The scope of work includes providing static and patrolling security guards to ensure access control and the protection of personnel, property, and information. The service must operate 24 hours a day, including weekends and public holidays. The provider must supply all necessary equipment, including uniforms, communication devices, and handheld scanners. Additionally, the provider is responsible for the transportation of security staff. The successful bidder must be prepared to start services within 30 days of the award. The provider must maintain detailed occurrence and vehicle registers and submit regular incident reports to the Department. The Department requires a total of six security officers to cover day and night shifts.
