The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) is seeking an independent commercial and technical advisor to assess the potential restart of the Mozal S.A. smelter. The successful bidder will provide a comprehensive investment-grade report covering technical, operational, energy, and financial aspects. Key deliverables include an inception report, critical risk assessments, independent valuation, and a sustainable business plan. The project is expected to be completed within eight weeks of appointment. The advisor will evaluate infrastructure, environmental compliance, and strategic partnership options to determine the viability of the smelter operations. The work will be conducted for the IDC to guide their investment committee on future project decisions.
