The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) is seeking a panel of service providers to perform ad hoc valuations for land, buildings, plant, equipment, and machinery. The work covers various sectors including industrial, agricultural, healthcare, and energy assets. Successful bidders will also provide mentorship to candidate valuers. Deliverables include detailed valuation reports that meet International Valuation Standards. The contract will run for three years, with performance reviewed annually. The work will be conducted across South Africa as required by the IDC.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
Full requirements
- Valid SARS tax compliance status (SARS PIN)
- Property valuers must be registered with SACPVP
- Plant and machinery valuers must hold RICS or ASA affiliation
- Must provide Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Must provide audited or independently reviewed financial statements
- Must provide B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit
- Must achieve a minimum functionality score of 70%
