The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) is seeking to appoint two credit rating agencies for a five-year contract. The work involves providing independent credit ratings, surveillance, and market insights. Bidders may apply for domestic services, international services, or both. Domestic services require FSCA registration and experience with State-Owned Entities, banking, and the private sector. International services require experience with Eurobonds and cross-border debt. Key deliverables include initial credit assessments, ongoing monitoring, and participation in investor roadshows. The project will be managed by the IDC in South Africa. Bidders must provide a detailed team structure and analyst CVs. All pricing must be in South African Rand and cover the full five-year duration.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
