The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) is seeking a service provider for internal audit services over a three-year period. The work will be based in Gauteng. Key deliverables include creating annual audit plans, performing risk-based audits, conducting probity reviews on tenders, and providing advisory services. The provider must attend governance meetings and report to the Audit and Risk Committee. The project requires a team led by a Certified Internal Auditor or Chartered Accountant, with specialized ICT audit support. The contract involves approximately 5,320 total hours of service over the three-year term.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Audit staff must hold valid IIA membership
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
