The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) is inviting service providers to join a panel of technical experts. The work involves providing advisory services, reviewing research projects, and conducting data analysis across various mining safety thrust areas, such as rock bursts, occupational diseases, and machinery safety. The work will be performed for the MHSC. Key deliverables include reviewed reports with tracked changes, expert recommendations, and detailed outcomes for research studies. Experts must possess at least 10 years of experience in their specific field and hold a Master’s degree. Both individuals and companies are eligible to apply, provided they have recent experience in research, consulting, or supervision within the last five years. The panel will be paid according to National Treasury consultant rates.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
