The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) invites proposals for the provision of canteen and catering services at its Scientia campus in Pretoria. This is a five-year, full-risk contract where the service provider manages all operations, including breakfast and lunch services, as well as ad-hoc catering for meetings. The provider must supply all necessary staff and maintain high standards of food hygiene and quality. The CSIR will provide the kitchen facilities, while the service provider is responsible for operational costs and must pay a monthly service fee to the CSIR. The contract is scheduled to run from October 2026 to September 2031. Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of relevant experience and provide contactable references.
