The Water Research Commission (WRC) is seeking a service provider to manage the layout of the scholarly journal 'Water SA'. The contract covers a 24-month period, during which the provider will handle 10 issues of the journal. The work involves converting MS Word articles into Adobe InDesign format, including the redrawing of complex mathematical equations and chemical formulae. Deliverables include individual articles in PDF and InDesign formats, as well as a full issue PDF for online publication. The service provider must maintain a turnaround time of 10 working days per article. Each issue averages 170 pages, with between 9 and 22 articles per issue. The work is to be performed remotely, with final files submitted to the WRC.
