The National Empowerment Fund (NEF) is seeking to establish panels for Mentorship, Consulting, and Back Office Support services. The goal is to provide professional guidance and operational support to Black-empowered South African businesses to promote economic transformation. The work will be performed nationwide, with the NEF aiming to utilize service providers located closer to their investees to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The mentorship categories include engineering, agriculture, manufacturing, IT, and hospitality, among others. The appointment to these panels will be for a contract period of 48 months, with an option to extend for an additional 12 months. Interested service providers must be prepared for potential presentations as part of the evaluation process. All relevant RFP documents will be available on the NEF website starting 21 September 2026.
