Description
The Petroleum Oil and Gas Corporation of South Africa (PetroSA) is inviting quotations for Nitrogen Purging Services at the PetroSA GTL Refinery in Mossel Bay. The project involves purging the unit 51 LPG HP Tank Farm, specifically two 211m³ bullets, to remove oxygen and create an inert atmosphere. Key deliverables include project pre-engineering, method statements, design of purging packs, and the supply of all necessary equipment, including a 16-ton Liquid Nitrogen ISO storage tank and approximately 12 tons of Nitrogen. The work is estimated to take four days, including mobilization, purging, and demobilization, with services required on a 24-hour basis. The contractor must provide a crew of six personnel, consisting of one supervisor and two technicians per 12-hour shift. All work must be performed in accordance with safety and quality standards at the PetroSA GTL Refinery and FA Platform.

- Must hold valid ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications
- Must possess valid pressure test certificates for all equipment
- Must have B-BBEE status of level 4 or better, or EME/QSE status
- Personnel must be equipped with SABS-compliant safety gear
- Supervisors and technicians must provide proof of competency

The consultant will technically screen feedstocks and provide pricing forecasts for commercial evaluation. The final report is due 9 weeks after contract award.
Servicing of diesel engines at SANPC Refinery.
The SANPC Refinery requires a service provider for the once-off major servicing of five diesel-driven fire water pumps on-site. The project aims to ensure engine reliability and reduce failure risk during emergencies. Deliverables include a detailed service report for each engine, test run checklists with performance data, and recommendations for any identified faults. Reports must be submitted within one week of service completion. The contractor must provide all necessary labour, supervision, spare parts, consumables, tools, and transport.
