Description

The Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) invites proposals for the appointment of Legal Transaction Advisors for the Richards Bay Dry Bulk Terminal Private Sector Participation Project. The successful bidder will provide multidisciplinary advisory services, including legal and regulatory feasibility studies, financial modeling, technical and ESG reporting, and transaction structuring. Key deliverables involve drafting procurement documents, managing data rooms, and supporting commercial and financial close activities. The project is expected to span three years, with core work completed within six months. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of experience in infrastructure projects and financial close for transactions valued at R500 million or more. Lead experts are required to have over 15 years of experience in their respective fields. The tender is a fixed-price contract with no escalations, and the DBSA reserves the right to award the scope in full or in part.
