PRASA is seeking a contractor to repair 11kV aerial bundled cables between the Foreshore substation and Cape Town station in the Western Cape. The project involves testing, jointing, and installing 1,500 meters of new aluminum cable and 200 meters of underground copper cable. The contractor must also remove and transport damaged cables to the Salt River depot and install suspension insulators. The work is expected to be completed within a three-month period.
