Description

The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) invites bids for the implementation of a Multi-Factor Authentication and Non-Repudiation Logical Access Control Solution. This project includes the supply, installation, and five-year maintenance of a system supporting smartcards, digital signatures, and biometrics (fingerprint, facial, and iris recognition). The solution must integrate with Department of Home Affairs core systems and include user onboarding for approximately 6,000 users, as well as training for 120 officials. The work will be performed at SITA Centurion and various Department of Home Affairs offices nationwide. The project requires a turn-key approach, including the creation of a secure evidence vault for forensic purposes. The contract duration is five years, with a 120-day bid validity period. A non-compulsory virtual briefing session is scheduled for 20 July 2026, and the final submission deadline is 05 August 2026.
