Description

The Western Cape Government Health and Wellness invites bids for debt collection services for a five-year period. The service provider will manage outstanding debts, including patient fees, personnel debt, and bursary-related debt across all Western Cape regions. Key deliverables include electronic processing of handover data, maintaining a call centre for recovery efforts, and providing monthly progress reports. The contractor must operate a separate trust account for recovered funds and ensure all payments are transferred to the Department within 14 business days of month-end. Bidders must have an established office in the Western Cape to facilitate meetings and inspections. The contract is set for 60 months, with an option for a one-year extension.
