Description

Transnet Port Terminals is seeking information for the supply, installation, operation, and maintenance of an automated vehicle inspection booth at the Durban RORO Terminals. The project involves installing one system capable of high-resolution imaging and electronic inspection of vehicles, including undercarriages and tires. The system must integrate with internal terminal software via API and include cloud-based data storage. The contract duration is 60 months, covering installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance. The terminal handles approximately 4,500 vehicles daily, requiring a robust solution with 24/7 technical support. This RFI is the first stage of a two-stage procurement process to identify capable service providers.
