The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa) is establishing a panel of suppliers for the supply and delivery of food and grocery products. This contract will run for three years on an as-and-when-required basis. The scope includes four categories: dry groceries, perishable goods, frozen products, and A-grade meat and poultry. Deliveries must be made to the Necsa site at Pelindaba, Northwest. Appointment to this panel does not guarantee a specific volume of work, as individual requirements will be sourced via a Request for Quotation process among panel members. Bidders must demonstrate the ability to maintain food safety standards, including cold chain management for frozen and perishable items. The bid validity period is 120 working days from the closing date. Pricing must be submitted separately from technical proposals, and all costs must be typed.
