South African National Parks (SANParks) is seeking a service provider to perform Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) services for its flight crew based in the Kruger National Park. The work involves conducting mandatory periodic aviation medical examinations for commercial, private, and drone pilots in line with South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) regulations. The provider must be able to perform these medicals at various SANParks airfields in the Mpumalanga Province. Key deliverables include issuing temporary medical certificates immediately after examinations and uploading all medical records to the SACAA AvMed Online System within 48 hours. The service provider must be available to perform medicals within 7 days of a request, or within 48 hours for urgent cases. The contract will remain active until the total expenditure reaches the financial cap of R999,000.00.
