Description

The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) is seeking two service providers for debt collection and legal collection services over a 12-month period. The work involves pre-legal collections on a contingency basis, formal legal litigation in Magistrates and High Courts, tracing services for absconded debtors, and regular reporting on account status. The project expects an initial handover of 2,000 to 3,000 cases, followed by 500 to 1,000 cases annually. Services must include debt recovery, drafting legal documents, and court appearances. The contract aims to improve SABS revenue through professional collection strategies.
