The Independent Power Producers’ Office (IPP Office) is seeking a Technical Transaction Advisor to support the conversion of the Avon and Dedisa peaking power plants from diesel to gas-fired. The project involves extending existing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and ensuring the facilities meet new technical requirements. The work will take place at the Avon and Dedisa sites and involves evaluating seller proposals, conducting comparative technical analyses, and facilitating stakeholder engagements. Key deliverables include technical reports, risk assessments, drafting PPA amendments, and providing support during negotiations and financial close. The appointment is expected to last for at least 36 months. The advisor will work alongside financial, legal, and economic development teams to ensure the project achieves value for money and successful financial closure.
