South African National Parks (SANParks) is seeking a Strategic Partner to act as a Sub-Executing Agency (SEA) for the GEF8/GBFF Project. The work will take place across three Mega Living Landscapes: Greater Addo, Greater Grasslands, and Greater Kruger/Barberton. The appointed agency will manage daily project activities, develop landscape-level framework plans, create investment and funding strategies, and ensure compliance with environmental and social safeguards. The contract duration is a maximum of six years. Key deliverables include unifying vision plans, high-level financial forecast models, and detailed implementation plans for durable finance mechanisms that benefit local communities. The project aims to integrate technical functions, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and leverage additional funding for conservation and sustainable livelihoods.
