The Department of Water and Sanitation is seeking an Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) for projects at the Mokolo Dam in Limpopo and the Hammanskraal Canal in Gauteng. The work involves conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Basic Assessments (BA), including specialist studies, public participation, and obtaining environmental authorizations. The Mokolo Dam project is expected to take 7 to 11 months, while the Hammanskraal Canal project is expected to take 5 to 7 months. Key deliverables include draft and final reports, environmental management programs, and specialist study records. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of post-registration experience and a successful track record of three similar projects completed within the last five years.
