The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) and the Marine Living Resources Fund (MLRF) invite bids for the maintenance of the inflatable vessel ECHO. The work will take place in Cape Town. The project involves removing old PVC buoyancy chambers and installing six new heavy-duty inflatable pontoon tubes for a 6.5-meter vessel. The contractor must also apply protective polyurethane coatings and clean the vessel deck and hull. The project must be completed within 60 days of receiving a purchase order. A buoyancy certificate compliant with Category C requirements is mandatory upon completion.
