Description

The South African Post Office (SAPO) invites proposals for the provision of professional guarding services across the North West Province. The successful bidder will be responsible for physical security, access control, and the protection of assets, employees, and customers at various SAPO workplaces. Key deliverables include the deployment of armed and unarmed guards in 12-hour shifts, regular patrolling, and the use of electronic guard monitoring systems at high-risk sites. The service provider must maintain an Occurrence Book and perform monthly security risk assessments. The contract will be awarded on a month-to-month basis for a maximum period of 12 months. Bidders must maintain an operational branch within the North West Province, including a secure firearm vault and a 24-hour control room.   • Minimum one year relevant guarding experience within the last two years
