Eskom is seeking an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction solution to replace the ageing analogue radio system at Komati Power Station. This Request for Information aims to identify a modern system that ensures reliable communication within a 3km radius and supports 200 simultaneous users. The project requires a design that allows for remote diagnostics via fibre and ensures spare parts availability for at least 20 years. The work will take place at the Komati Power Station site. Bidders must demonstrate technical expertise in telecommunications and provide a project cost estimate. This is a market-testing exercise and does not guarantee a binding contract. The submission deadline is 16 July 2026.
