Description

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is seeking to establish a panel of suppliers for the provision of spherical metal powders. These materials, ranging from 45 µm to 150 µm, are required for additive manufacturing and various welding processes. The scope covers a wide range of alloy categories, including aluminium, copper, iron, stainless steel, nickel, and titanium-based alloys. This contract will span a duration of three years, during which pre-qualified suppliers will be invited to provide quotations on an as-needed basis. Bidders must demonstrate at least three years of experience in the metal powder industry and provide evidence of their ability to meet delivery timelines. The CSIR requires technical specifications and manufacturing details for all powders offered.
