Transnet Port Terminals (TPT) Richards Bay is seeking a service provider for a four-month contract to provide Marshal Services. The work involves traffic management and coordination at the Dry Bulk Terminal and Multi-Purpose Terminal within the Port of Richards Bay. Key deliverables include the deployment of 48 marshals (Grade D or higher) and 4 supervisors (Grade B or higher) to manage truck flow, monitor congestion, and report incidents. The service provider must supply all necessary equipment, including communication radios, high-visibility traffic cones, torches, and a patrol vehicle. Personnel must operate in 12-hour shifts under challenging environmental conditions. The contractor is responsible for ensuring all staff are medically fit and properly equipped with personal protective equipment. This contract aims to improve truck flow and ensure compliance with port safety and environmental regulations.
