The Transnet National Ports Authority invites bids for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of an 11kV mini substation, perimeter and entrance lighting, and security fencing at Culemborg in the Port of Cape Town. The project, under the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract, spans eighteen months and includes electrical and civil works, as-built drawings, and electrical Certificates of Compliance. Compliance with maritime security and port safety protocols is required. A compulsory briefing session is on 12 October 2026.
Supply and Installation of MV Switchgear at Arnot Power Station
Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd seeks bids for the supply, delivery, offloading, and installation of MV switchgear protection materials and components at Arnot Power Station over 36 months. The project involves replacing obsolete protection schemes with modern Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs), implementing a redundant Engineering Workstation (EWS), upgrading HVAC systems, and conducting necessary civil works while the station remains operational. Deliverables include design reports, as-built drawings, RAM study reports, and staff training. Equipment must be from Eskom’s approved list.
