Description

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) is seeking service providers to supply physical security services for its plantations and nurseries. The work covers six provinces: Eastern Cape, Limpopo, Western Cape, KwaZulu Natal, North-West, and Free State. The contract will run for a period of 36 months. Key deliverables include 24-hour security monitoring, access control, and regular vehicle patrols using 4x4 vehicles. Service providers must manage personnel, maintain incident registers, and provide training in fire safety and first aid. The project requires a significant operational presence across the specified regions to ensure the safety of DFFE assets.

  • Attendance at the compulsory briefing session
