Description

The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) is seeking a service provider to perform background screening, verification, and reference checks. This work will take place over a four-year period on an as-needed basis. Key deliverables include comprehensive background reports covering identity, criminal records, credit history, employment history, education, and professional memberships. The provider must verify information directly with institutions rather than acting as a middleman. Each report must clearly state the verification status, any identified discrepancies, and the final outcome. The work is intended to support the human resources and due diligence processes of the CMS. All services must be provided at fixed rates for the duration of the four-year contract. The project will be managed by the CMS, and all verification tools used must be legally owned or authorized for use by the appointed bidder.
