Description

The Maluti-a-Phofung Municipality is inviting bids for the appointment of a service provider to manage short-term insurance for municipal assets. This contract will span a period of three years. The scope of work includes providing comprehensive insurance coverage across various classes, such as buildings, office contents, motor fleets, electronic equipment, and public liability, as well as SASRIA coverage. The work will be performed within the jurisdiction of the Maluti-a-Phofung Municipality. The municipality will monitor the service provider's performance monthly according to a Service Level Agreement. The tender, identified by bid number SCM/BID06/2026/2027, must be submitted by 29th October 2026 at 10h00. The evaluation will follow the 80/20 preferential points system. Pricing must remain fixed for the first year, with potential escalations allowed in the second and third years as per the agreement.
