Description

The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSiRA) is inviting proposals to establish a panel of independent Presiding Officers. The successful candidates will manage Code of Conduct enquiries on an ad-hoc basis for a period of thirty-six months. The work will take place across various provinces in South Africa as required by the Authority. Key deliverables include conducting fair and impartial hearings, managing procedural matters, and submitting typed written findings and recommendations within seven days of the proceedings. Applicants must be qualified legal professionals, such as Attorneys or Advocates of the High Court, or independent commissioners with at least three years of relevant experience. The panel members will be responsible for ensuring all proceedings align with the PSIR Act and internal enforcement regulations. This appointment does not guarantee a minimum volume of work and will be managed on a rotational basis.
