The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is seeking a panel of contractors to rehabilitate existing diptanks and construct new ones across various districts in KwaZulu-Natal. The project will run for a period of 36 months. Successful bidders will handle site preparation, earthworks, concrete construction, and the installation of fencing and handling equipment. Construction must follow SABS/SANS standards and safety regulations. Contractors must complete new diptanks within 4 months and rehabilitation projects within 3 months of site handover. Bidders must choose one of four regional clusters for their operations. Work must commence within three weeks of receiving the site.

- CIDB grading (Grade 1 Civil Engineering (1CE)) — A Construction Industry Development Board grade in the right class of works.
