The Department of Electricity and Energy, through the Independent Power Producers Office, is conducting a survey to identify state-owned land for future electricity generation projects. This market sounding exercise aims to gather data on land parcels suitable for renewable energy and energy storage developments. The initiative supports the Integrated Resource Plan 2025 and helps design location-specific procurement models, particularly in areas with limited grid capacity. The survey period is active from 01 August 2026 to 30 September 2026.
