Description

Transnet National Ports Authority is inviting bids for the supply and delivery of pontoon connectors to the Port of Richards Bay. The project involves the manufacturing, inspection, testing, and delivery of 65 pontoon connectors along with associated hardware, including lock nuts, retainer nuts, flat washers, end plates, and rubber bearings. The work is required to replace damaged connectors to ensure vessel safety in the entrance channel. The contract duration is six months. A compulsory briefing session will be held on 04 September 2026 at the Port of Richards Bay.
