ATNS invites service providers to bid for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of radio frequency test equipment. This contract will run for five years across ten major airports and training centres in South Africa. The successful bidder must perform periodic calibrations, provide ad-hoc maintenance, and ensure all work meets national and international metrology standards. All equipment must be traceable to the National Metrology Institute of South Africa. Services must be delivered within seven working days of an official order. This is an as-and-when-required contract, and all calibrated equipment and reports remain the property of ATNS.

- CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
- Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.

- Valid SANAS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 or equivalent international laboratory accreditation
- Minimum two signed reference letters for calibration services under three years old
- Two technicians with SAQA-accredited qualifications and five years experience
- Valid SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN
- Full CSD registration report
- Valid OEM authorisation letter if applicable
- B-BBEE certificate or affidavit, CIPC documents, and shareholder identification
