The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) invites service providers to join a panel for the recycling and destruction of non-compliant products. This project covers five key industries: Electrotechnical, Automotive, Chemicals/Mechanical/Materials, Legal Metrology, and Food. The work involves transporting non-compliant goods from NRCS storage facilities to destruction sites, managing waste in an environmentally friendly manner, and providing disposal certificates. Service providers must demonstrate operational capacity in Gauteng, Cape Town, Durban, and Port Elizabeth. The contract duration is 60 months. Bidders must show they have secure warehouse storage (600m2 to 1000m2) with security guards and perimeter fencing. The project requires a unit-rate based pricing model for testing and destruction services. The closing date for submissions is 28 July 2026 at 11:00.
