Description

PRASA is seeking a service provider to inspect, maintain, test, and replace lifeline systems in the KwaZulu-Natal region. The work will take place at the Durban RM Workshop and Springfield depot. Key deliverables include the maintenance of stainless steel cables, fall arrestors, and safety harnesses for rolling stock. The contract will run for 24 months on an as-and-when-required basis. The successful bidder must perform monthly and annual inspections and provide written reports on all findings and repairs. All work must be completed within 10 working days of receiving an official purchase order. The project is scheduled to conclude by 02 October 2026.
