Description

The eThekwini Municipality is inviting tenders for the maintenance of rail sidings in the Isipingo area. This project will run for a duration of 36 months. The scope of work includes routine maintenance such as track inspections, weeding approximately 10.2 hectares of rail reserve, ballast trimming, gauge adjustments, and lubricating turnouts. The contractor will also be responsible for emergency repairs, drainage maintenance, and clearing overhanging branches. All work must follow the Transnet Permanent Way Instruction Manual.
