The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA) is seeking a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Partner to redevelop, enhance, maintain, and support its Microsoft SharePoint Cloud environment. This project includes the company intranet and the Electronic Documents and Records Management System (EDRMS). The work will take place in Pretoria over a five-year period. The project involves a phased migration from older SharePoint versions to a modern cloud platform, including document workflows, content management, security classification, and integration with tools like SigniFlow, Outlook, and Teams. Key deliverables include a fully functional intranet, technical training for ICT staff, comprehensive maintenance and support, and the handover of all source code. A draft project plan is required within two weeks of the contract start date. The project aims to improve digital collaboration and document management through automation and AI-driven features, ensuring all systems are fully supported throughout the contract duration.

- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- PAYE registration — Registration for PAYE (employees' tax) with SARS.
- UIF registration — Registration with the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
