The Central Karoo District Municipality is seeking a security service provider for a two-month contract from 1 July 2026 to 31 August 2026. The successful bidder will provide security, patrol, and access control services at various municipal sites, including depots in Beaufort West, Murraysburg, Merweville, Laingsburg, and Prince Albert. Key deliverables include the deployment of Grade C security guards equipped with communication tools and non-lethal self-defense gear, as well as the submission of monthly incident reports. Services are required on a 'where and when needed' basis, covering normal, after-hours, and 24-hour shifts. The provider must maintain a dedicated administrative office and ensure all personnel are fluent in two of the three official Western Cape languages.

- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

- Must hold a valid PSiRA Letter of Good Standing.
- Must be registered with the National Bargaining Council for Private Security Services.
- Must provide valid Tax Compliance Status Pin.
- Must provide proof of CSD and CIPC company registration.
- Must provide proof of municipal rates or valid lease agreement.
- Must hold or commit to R5 million Public Liability Insurance.
