Description

The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) is seeking a service provider to supply physical security services for its centers for a period of 12 months. The scope of work includes 24/7 guarding, access control, patrol services, and the operation of a control room. The provider must also supply armed response capabilities and security vehicles equipped with GPS tracking. Key deliverables include weekly and monthly security reports detailing incidents and operational status. The work will be performed at various NYDA centers across South Africa, divided into Inland and Coastal lots.

  • CSD registration — Registration on the Central Supplier Database — required to do business with government.
  • Registered company — An active CIPC-registered company in good standing.
  • Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
  • Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
  • Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).

  • Valid Tax Compliance status
  • Valid PSIRA company registration and Letter of Good Standing
  • Valid COIDA Letter of Good Standing
  • Public liability insurance cover of at least R5,000,000
  • Valid Private Security Sector Provident Fund Section 13A letter
  • ICASA license or MOU with an ICASA-licensed provider
  • Proof of functional control room and company vehicle ownership
  • Proof of health insurance for security personnel
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience and 5 positive reference letters
  • PSIRA Grade A/B for supervisors and Grade C for officers
