Description

The eThekwini Municipality is inviting tenders for the supply of spare parts, as well as the servicing and maintenance of its municipal vehicle fleet. This contract will run for a period of 36 months. The work involves maintaining various vehicle brands, including Toyota, VW, Ford, Scania, MAN, Isuzu, and BMW. The service provider must collect and deliver vehicles to municipal workshops and ensure all parts used are original OEM components. Key deliverables include providing daily progress reports, offering priority service for municipal vehicles, and training staff from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. The contractor must respond to service calls within two hours and complete repairs within 24 hours of service completion. All work will take place within the eThekwini Municipal area.
