Description

The Department of Cooperative Governance (DCOG) is seeking a service provider to supply a secure, climate-controlled, and NARSSA-compliant off-site storage facility for its records. The contract will run for a period of 36 months. The work involves the collection, indexing, and storage of approximately 10,000 initial boxes, with an additional 2,000 boxes expected over the contract term. The facility must be located within a 100km radius of the DCOG Head Office in Arcadia, Pretoria. Key deliverables include electronic tracking, file-level retrieval within 48 hours, and re-filing services within 72 hours. The service provider must also manage the transport of records upon contract expiry. The project requires a dedicated team, including a Project Manager and a Records Management Specialist, to ensure professional document handling and compliance with national standards.
