The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) is seeking a service provider to evaluate the effectiveness of Hearing Conservation Programs (HCPs) within the South African mining industry. The project involves conducting a literature review, analyzing noise risk profiles across various mine commodities, and developing a guidance document to improve hearing conservation practices. The work will be performed across multiple mine sites, including gold, coal, platinum, and diamond operations. Key deliverables include a project initiation report, a noise risk profile, a stakeholder workshop, and a final HCP framework. The project is expected to be completed over an 18-month period, which includes 15 months of research and 3 months for administrative finalization.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
