The East London Industrial Development Zone (ELIDZ) is seeking a service provider for the supply and maintenance of bulk voice services and a Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) upgrade. The project involves providing redundant fibre-based voice connectivity to two data centres, migrating to SIP trunks, and performing number porting. Additionally, the successful bidder must upgrade the existing CUCM environment to version 15, manage license migrations, and replace incompatible handsets. The contract spans three years, starting 1 February 2027. Key deliverables include achieving 99.999% uptime and supporting call volumes up to 100,000 minutes per month. Fibre installation must be finished by 16 January 2027, with the CUCM upgrade following within six months.
