The Agricultural Research Council (ARC) is seeking a contractor for the repair and maintenance of the Manor House and kitchen building at the Nietvoorbij Farm in Stellenbosch. The project includes replacing thatch roof ridges with cement, installing fire hazard spray systems, repairing damaged thatch sections, and waterproofing chimneys. Additionally, the contractor must remove existing asbestos roofing and replace it with new chrome deck sheets, as well as perform interior ceiling and cornice repairs with painting. The work requires site cleanup upon completion. A compulsory site briefing is scheduled for 18 June 2026, and the tender closes on 25 June 2026.
