The Vaal-Orange Catchment Management Agency (VOCMA) is seeking a service provider to develop a Catchment Management Strategy (CMS) for the 2026/27 to 2028/29 period. The project covers a vast area across South Africa and Lesotho, including the Vaal and Orange sub-catchment regions. The successful bidder will perform a situational assessment, develop a strategic framework for water resource management, and facilitate extensive stakeholder consultations. Key deliverables include an inception report, a vision report, a final draft CMS, and an implementation plan. The project duration is 30 months. The work requires professional expertise in water resource management and strategy development to ensure alignment with national water policies.

- Tax clearance — A valid SARS tax compliance status (PIN) showing your tax affairs are in order.
- B-BBEE certificate — A B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit confirming your contribution level.
- Letter of Good Standing — COID registration and a Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Fund.
- Other registration — An industry registration the tender requires (e.g. PSIRA, NHBRC, a professional or trade licence).
