Description

The National Lotteries Commission (NLC) is seeking a qualified service provider to implement Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) compliance. The project involves conducting a gap analysis, mapping data processing activities, performing privacy impact assessments, and developing a comprehensive POPIA framework and procedure manual. The service provider will also be responsible for creating and delivering staff awareness and training programs. The work will take place over a six-month period. Key deliverables include monthly progress reports, a compliance roadmap, and finalized governance documentation. The project is divided into three phases: assessment, implementation, and finalization. Bidders must demonstrate relevant experience in POPIA implementation and provide professional membership confirmation.

Requirements

  • Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
  • Valid SARS Tax Compliance Pin
  • Valid B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit
  • Proof of registration with the Compensation Fund (COIDA)
  • Five traceable references and PO orders for similar POPIA projects
  • Professional membership with Compliance Institute of SA or Legal Practice Council
