The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) is inviting bids for the appointment of a service provider to deliver professional security services at its Head Office in Centurion. The contract will run for a period of three years. The scope of work includes access control, physical patrolling of the premises every 30 minutes, guarding of assets, key and alarm management, and the provision of additional security during labour unrest. The service provider must supply all necessary security equipment, including radios, torches, batons, and firearms, and must implement a guard monitoring system with web portal access. Personnel requirements include Grade C security guards and Grade B site supervisors who meet specific age, experience, and language criteria. Bidders must attend a compulsory briefing session on 16 November 2026 via Microsoft Teams. The closing date for all submissions is 27 November 2026 at 11h00.
