Description

The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) is seeking a service provider to supply an ICT Disaster Recovery solution for a 12-month period. The work will be based in Gauteng, with the recovery facility located between 30km and 75km from the MHSC offices in Sandton. Key deliverables include the replication of the production environment, a dedicated 1 Gbps fibre link, and a secure data centre equipped with backup power and fire suppression. The provider must perform quarterly disaster recovery tests, provide monthly status reports, and offer technical support. The project requires the maintenance of data within Gauteng and adherence to strict business continuity standards. The contract includes an initial testing phase within 90 days of commencement.
